Climate Heroine follows the work of Minet Aguisanda-Jerusalem, a climate activist who not only survived, but also assisted 23,000 families as Typhoon Haiyan wreaked havoc on the Philippines.

Minet Aguisanda-Jerusalem, a hero from the Philippines, has worked tirelessly in nonprofit aide work and disaster relief for 36 years. Meeting Minet, befriending one another, and attempting to portray a sliver of her story and passion and strength and humor and hope in just a 10 minute film was the greatest privilege I’ve had thus far as a filmmaker. I can’t wait to show it in hopes that it will broaden perspectives, open hearts, and encourage dialogue and action.
