Thank God for Girls - Web Series

Currently in production, Thank God for Girls showcases the growing pains of cleverer than thou’ African American, teenage, lesbian, Taylor Morris, whose insecurities cause her to struggle with coming out to her mom; maintaining friendships at her predominantly white, Catholic High School; and committing to a girl she loves.

Thank God for Girls is a very personal story about my experiences as a queer person of color at a majority white, straight high school. I’m so excited to be sharing this with everyone and so grateful for all my friends working on with me. Not only does our story increase inclusion and representation, our crew is female and LGBTQ+ dominated. Giving women these opportunities to showcase their incredible skills and talent increases the chance for female filmmakers to continue their work and get recognition for it.
