About Me

I began my career as a filmmaker in high school when I met a woman named Beverly who was advertising the rescues of her small no-kill animal shelter, Friends4Pets. During our conversation, she shared with me that she was having trouble finding loving families for her animals and gave me her business card in case I thought of any potential candidates.
Being an animal lover myself, her story moved me to action. Although I did not know anyone in the market for a kitten, I did have a love for telling stories and some rudimentary experience with cameras and Final Cut software.
For the next several months, I worked closely with Beverly and her family to craft a ten-minute documentary that highlighted their acts of service to the local community. Since its digital premiere, they have managed to rehome over 50 animals and received enough donations to foster almost 100 more.
I have been immersed in the art and business of film ever recently completing my fourth year as a Film Production Major at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. In addition to my coursework and working on several student film sets, I have also pursued other opportunities to develop my skills, increasing the social media presence of both LMU's Service Learning Program and the School of Film and Television Events Department through film production. My goal in life is to tell compelling stories; I would love to help you tell yours.
